As the transfer window draws to a close, Manchester United still have their work cut out for them. The club is keen to finalise several deals before the summer concludes.
The Red Devils have made significant strides in securing a new frontline, with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko all on board. However, Ruben Amorim is reportedly keen to add a new midfielder to the squad, although Carlos Baleba isn't available at an acceptable price.
Goalkeeper speculation has also been rife. Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have both had their futures questioned, while links to Gianluigi Donnarumma and Emiliano Martinez have emerged. Player departures are also on the agenda. United are hoping to offload Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia and Rasmus Hojlund in the coming days.

The French club are looking to part ways with the Italian following the signing of Lucas Chevalier, with Donnarumma in the final year of his contract.
City have already brought in James Trafford this summer, who started against Wolves in Ederson's absence. The Brazilian was ill, fuelling reports of a possible move to Galatasaray, reports the Mirror.
City are reportedly reluctant to meet PSG's £40m valuation for Donnarumma, according to Football Italia. However, the Ligue 1 champions might be convinced to lower their asking price due to the goalkeeper's hefty wages.

Jadon Sancho's representatives are reportedly causing a hitch in the Manchester United star's search for a new club, as per Italian reports.
Gazzetta, via Sport Witness, suggests that the agents' commission demands have become a hurdle for Roma, with Juventus and Atletico Madrid having already experienced similar issues this summer.
Roma are reportedly willing to match Sancho's £7.7m-per-season wage demands and have a tentative agreement with United for an initial loan deal. However, it's claimed that Sancho's agents are more enticed by offers from Besiktas and Saudi Arabia.
The Serie A club is now relying on Sancho to bring his representatives 'back to their senses', it has been reported. It's also been suggested that Sancho is holding out for other offers.

West Brom manager Ryan Mason has heaped praise on Manchester United loanee Toby Collyer, predicting significant improvement from the midfielder this season.
The former Spurs coach disclosed that the young player had been on their radar for weeks and expressed his eagerness to help him develop over the course of the season.
"Toby's a young player, but we know we're going to need him and he's going to help us," Mason declared. "I've wanted Toby for a few weeks now. He's someone that I really believe in, which is important and I have that belief in all of my players.
"But when you go on loan to somewhere, I think you need to feel like you're wanted from the club and the manager and he certainly is that.
