Arsenal have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to sign their talisman in a deal worth £67.5million.
The north London club launched a late bid to hijack Tottenham’s pursuit of the England international following Kai Havertz’s knee injury.
For Eze to be eligible to face Leeds, he must complete his medical and registration by Friday’s 12pm deadline.
Should the Leeds clash come too soon, Eze’s Arsenal debut is likely to arrive in a heavyweight showdown at Anfield on Sunday, August 31.

Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta and vice-chairman Tim Lewis are understood to have led negotiations to secure Eze, who is set to become the Gunners’ seventh signing of the summer.
A boyhood Arsenal fan, Eze briefly represented the club at youth level before being released at 13, and in 2022 told Rising Ballers how it was his “dream” to play for Arsenal.
Since joining Palace from QPR in 2020 for £17m, Eze has made 169 appearances, scoring 40 goals and providing 28 assists. He was instrumental in Palace’s historic FA Cup triumph last season, netting the decisive goal in the final against Manchester City.
