Wolves are in the market for a central defender, and now a new target has emerged from La Liga.
So far, Fosun have struggled to get the right reinforcements through the door. While Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias provide options up top, Wolves seem to be in the hunt for another defender following Jackson Tchatchoua’s arrival.
There has been interest in Jakub Kiwior from Wolves, and with target Axel Disasi verging on joining another Premier League side, the Old Gold have put their sights elsewhere.
The Molineux side have reportedly identified another potential signing, and the player did something quite special last season.

Wolves make move to sign £26m Girona defender Ladislav Krejčí
A report from L’Esportiu de Catalunya has revealed that Wolves have a serious interest in Girona defender Ladislav Krejčí.
The Czech defender reportedly has a €30 million (£26 million) release clause and Wolves have “appeared with force” in order to sign Krejčí.

Wolves fans will already be familiar with the defender, who took part in the pre-season friendly between the Premier League side and Girona earlier in the summer.
In that game, the player was deployed at left-back for Girona, highlighting the versatility he can offer Wolves. Additionally, during his time with Sparta Praha, he played most of his games as a midfielder.

It would be a shrewd option for Vitor Pereira, who is desperate for more quality in his side, and what Krejčí did for Girona last season against PSG showcases what he could bring.
Ladislav Krejčí outpaced Ousmane Dembele in Champions League last season
If you recognise the name Ladislav Krejčí other than from his appearance against Wolves in pre-season, you would have likely seen a viral clip of his from last season.
With Girona in the Champions League, the La Liga side came up against one of Europe’s best teams, PSG.
The Czech defender had the tough task of keeping Ousmane Dembele quiet, and he did an excellent job on the night, only losing out to a last-minute own goal from goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
One of his biggest highlights was a sprint from inside the PSG half all the way to his own box to deny Dembele a clear-cut chance that he surely would have scored.
It was a remarkable show of speed from Krejčí, and this will bear good news for Wolves fans if the player joins.
The Premier League is full of quick players, and having defenders who are able to recover fast can be vital for staying in games or holding onto points.
New signing Jackson Tchatchoua was the quickest in Serie A last season, and with Krejčí potentially arriving, the Old Gold would be able to deal with those rapid players much more easily.
