AFC Bournemouth have completed the transfer of Amine Adli from German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
The 25-year-old is a Moroccan international and can play in numerous attacking positions.
He has signed a 5-year contract at Dean Court after former Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen reportedly agreed a deal worth €21 million up front, plus another €9 million in add-ons.
Amine Adli was part of Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen side that went undefeated domestically, winning both the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal (German Cup) in 2023/24.
During the league that campaign Adli scored 4 goals and claimed 4 assists in 23 appearances (8 starts).
During his time in Germany he has also played for Bayer Leverkusen in all three of UEFA’s club competitions, reaching the UEFA Europa League final last year.
Adli told afcb.co.uk upon his arrival…
“I’m very proud first of all to play for a club like Bournemouth. I was looking at my next move and I felt like Bournemouth was the perfect place for me.
“The people around give me a lot of confidence here and I’m very impressed with the facilities. The people at the club are full of love, so I’m very happy and proud to play for Bournemouth and hopefully achieve good things.”
Meanwhile, Luis Sinisterra looks set to make a loan move to join Brazilian side Cruzeiro. Discussions on a move are ongoing.

I think he’ll be the first North African to make a first-team appearance for us when he plays.
Although that’s a loosely defined set of countries, so it may be arguable.
Either way, welcome Amine! I’m very excited about this one. My hopes are as sky-high. – To join the conversation, please click here.
