The Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks, both coming off wins in Week 2 of the 2025 NFL preseason, are set to have joint practices this week before their meeting at Lambeau Field this coming Saturday. That will be their respective NFL preseason finale, as well.
The Seahawks, who did not partake in a joint practice between 1991 and 2024, met the Packers in 2024 and lost in a Week 15 game at home, 30-13. In that game, the Seahawks failed to slow down Jordan Love and Green Bay’s offense, which racked up 369 and 21 first downs while going 5-for-12 on third downs.
However, revenge is not on the mind of Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, whose main goal in Green Bay is to further improve areas that need to be polished ahead of the 2025 NFL campaign.

“It is just one [practice],” coach Mike Macdonald said, per Ari Horton of the Seahawks’ official website. “You do have to keep the timetable, but I think that is one of the reasons why we do just one practice.”
Macdonald also highlighted the idea of not taking advantage of the chance to polish their game opposite a Packers squad that he respects.
“This is an opportunity for our ones and twos to be in this environment, practice against a good team, and get some great work in.”
