According to a report fromL’Équipe, Carlos Soler (28) looks to be edging closer towards an exit from Paris Saint-Germain, after returning from a season-long loan at West Ham United. Soler, like the other returning loanees (such as Randal Kolo Muani), has no future at the Parc des Princes and will be looking for a permanent exit this summer.
The French outlet writes that multiple clubs in England are looking at the midfielder, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and an unnamed club joining Brighton & Hove Albion (who have a longstanding interest in the Spanish international).
La Liga side Villarreal are also expected to reignite their interest in bringing the midfielder back to his native city. Soler was born in Valencia and came up through the ranks ofThe Yellow Submarine’s local rivals, Valencia CF, before leaving for PSG in 2022.
Soler made 33 appearances during his time on loan at West Ham, scoring once and assisting once, but struggled to hold down a starting spot, making most of his appearances off the bench.
