Well, it’s safe to say last night was one of the most enjoyable nights I’ve experienced on social media for a long time.
Anyone who is a regular watcher of my channel will be well aware just how keen I have been to see Arsenal firm up their interest in Eberechi Eze this summer and bring him across London from Crystal Palace.
But as the window has ticked by it’s felt more and more unlikely, with messages coming from Arsenal that their interest in Eze had cooled following confirmation of Ethan Nwaneri’s new contract.
It looked for all the world that Eze would be heading to Spurs, which would have been incredibly hard to stomach. But then last night everything changed.
David Ornstein pressed publish on a tweet that sent social media into meltdown. Arsenal, Eze, it was happening…………
Oh what fun those next few hours were.
Anyway, in today’s episode of Inside Arsenal there was of course only one thing to focus on. I give my immediate reaction to the Eze news, share why I think it’s such an exciting signing and discuss where he might fit in,
I also do obviously have to touch on the worrying news about Kai Havertz to discuss as well.
