Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch celebrates birth of first child with partner. Liverpool player Ryan Gravenberch and partner Cindy Peroti celebrates as they announced the arrival of their first child in a lovely social media post. The couple announced the news via Instagram on Monday night with the message “Our little miracle is here” and received plenty of messages of support from teammates, football colleagues, and fans.
A Joyful Delay for Football
Gravenberch’s newborn was a huge factor in the beginning of the player’s season activity. The player missed the Community Shield match against Crystal Palace and the only reason why he missed was because Peroti had gone into labor the night prior to the Wembley match on August 9. Gravenberch, who is 23 years old Dutch international, was going to miss the 2025/26 season opening Premier League against Bournemouth for one match suspension due to a red card from final game from 2024/25 season. The timing of Gravenberch’s and Peroti’s newborn couldn’t have come at a better time as it has provided Gravenberch the precious time with his new family at the start of the 2025/26 season.
Team Support and Well-Wishes
The couple’s post was met with great excitement from the Liverpool community. For example, teammates Conor Bradley, Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones became a father last October. All reacted to posts with heart emojis and words of congratulations. Szoboszlai should be able to relate more than most as like Jones. He welcomed his first born a little earlier on in the summer. Moreover, the partners of players joined in too, with Jones’s fiancée Saffie Khan commenting “Perfect”. The backing didn’t just come from the players in the community. This involves club captain Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Alexis Mac Allister, the Reds’ alumni Gini Wijnaldum and Ryan Babel. They all sent their blessings, showing how tight the community and squad are.

Looking Ahead
Now that his suspension is in the books, Gravenberch will rejoin the squad for Liverpool’s next outing against Newcastle United. Moreover, this happy news also marks a happy time for a player who was a “surprise package” and “standout performer” at defensive midfield last season. He made 37 Premier League appearances to help deliver Arne Slot the title in his first season at Anfield. The club and supporters will be happy to welcome Gravenberch back on the pitch. This includes the inspiration of being a new father.
