According to reports, at least one Saudi Pro League side is prepared to pay £80m+ for Martinelli’s services. That figure would represent a huge profit on the Brazilian, who joined Arsenal in 2019 for a modest £6m fee from Ituano.
Saudi clubs have already lured major names from European football in recent years, and the prospect of Martinelli being next is beginning to feel very real.

Arsenal’s Dilemma

The Gunners are not under financial pressure to sell, but this is a decision that could reshape their attack. With Eberechi Eze’s arrival close and Noni Madueke signed from Chelsea, Arsenal suddenly have greater depth in wide areas.
Still, Martinelli has been one of Mikel Arteta’s key men since breaking into the side, bringing pace, energy, and goals from the left flank. Losing him now, just as Arsenal prepare for another title push, would be a huge gamble.
What happens now?
The ball is in Arsenal’s court. If they cash in, it could provide significant funds for future signings but it would also leave them without one of their most dynamic forwards. If they resist, Martinelli will remain central to their hopes of competing for the Premier League and Champions League.
For now, the interest is clear. An £80m offer is ready to land, and Arsenal must decide whether to hold firm or take the money.
