Warriors Expected To Sign Free Agent Guard

The Golden State Warriors have been somewhat stubborn during the NBA offseason.

In fact, they are the only team that hasn’t made a single move during the summer, and their current roster is the exact same one they had last year.

But that could change soon.

According to Ary on X, free agent Malcolm Brogdon is expected to sign with the Warriors before the new season kicks off.

Brogdon could be a great addition to this Warriors team and might bring a ton of talent and experience to the team’s backcourt.

He got his start with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2016-17 and has had a terrific, but sometimes complicated, career since.

After winning Rookie of the Year, Brogdon spent two more seasons with the Bucks before moving to the Indiana Pacers.

After three seasons there, he was moved to the Boston Celtics.

During his single season in Boston, he averaged 14.9 points and 4.2 rebounds and earned Sixth Man of the Year.

Since then, things have been challenging for Brogdon, who has only played in 63 games between the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards.

Injuries have gotten in the way, but Brogdon is still an accomplished and capable bench player.

That is exactly what the Warriors have in mind, especially with his price point.

They are hoping that Brogdon can provide serious assistance in the second unit and give the team’s starters time to rest and remain healthy all season long.

He may not be the sort of player who radically transforms the team’s championship chances, but he will definitely give them a boost if he can remain healthy.
