Amid the ongoing saga surrounding the former Chelsea prospect, Saints boss Still wants what is best for Dibling, which could be his Premier League move.
As quoted by the Daily Echo, Still recently said: “It’s not up to me to tell him what’s best for his career and his life.
“Like I said to him, if that’s what he wants, then clubs will look at it and say, ‘He’s being professional, he’s playing, he’s getting involved, and he’s doing the job right’.
“If he does well, then the interest will only grow for him. I think it’s just beneficial for everyone that we do things in the right way and that we respect the club, the players, and everyone involved.”
Still’s side are now planning for life without Dibling as Southampton target Finn Azaz from Middlesbrough in a move for the attacking midfielder who has registered double figures for both goals and assists in the last two Championship seasons.
Despite Still returning Dibling to the Saints squad for the Ipswich clash, after Spurs’ interest has emerged in the in-demand starlet, it remains to be seen whether he will be present for the Saints’ clash against Stoke on Saturday.
