David Moyes is desperate for new attacking additions to land at Finch Farm on the back of their opening day defeat against Leeds United.
Time is running out for Everton in the market, but they are also facing some real competition from some of their Premier League rivals for players.

Crystal Palace ready bid for Everton target Tyler Dibling
On Thursday morning, it had been suggested that Tottenham Hotspur had enquired about Dibling, having missed out on Eberechi Eze.
Interest in Dibling appears to be increasing following the agreement struck to sell Eze, and it is not great news for Everton.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to GiveMeSport, Crystal Palace are preparing their opening bid for Dibling as they are set to see some considerable money come into the club.
It is claimed Palace are ready to lay down a total package worth £45m with add-ons included.
Southampton are demanding £45m, with the belief that the Championship outfit have now lowered their valuation.
With the bid expected to hit Southampton’s asking price, Palace are viewed by the Saints as the side leading the pursuit.
Everton also have an interest in Malick Fofana, but that is a deal which has plenty of other issues standing in Angus Kinnear’s way.
Everton handed Tyler Dibling ultimatum
With both Spurs and Palace keen to sign Dibling – both with money in their pockets – it is now or never for Everton.
There is some good news for the Blues, though.
It is believed that Dibling wants to join Everton this summer, with the Toffees on the scene for a number of weeks already.
There appears to be a deal there for Everton to do, but it is a case of whether the club feel that the asking price is too high for a player with such little experience.
Whatever Everton decide, fans will just want to see some movement made in the market, with the clock ticking down on the 1 September deadline.
