Former boxer Marselles Brown was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing a youth football coach in the stomach during a dispute over a parking spot.
Officials say he fled the scene but was later tracked down.
The coach was rushed to a nearby hospital and required surgery. His current condition is unknown.
Marselles Brown is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday afternoon.
