PSG midfielder Carlos Soler, who spent last season on loan at West Ham United, didn’t extend his stay with the London club beyond the original deal — though a move elsewhere in the Premier League is still on the table.
Soler joined West Ham last summerin search of regular minutes and a fresh start. The Hammers landed him on deadline day despite competition from several other clubs.
By February, however,a report from Claret and Hugh indicated West Ham were unlikely to activate the option to buy in the loan agreement. The transfer fee — just under €20 million — wasn’t the biggest issue. Instead, Soler’s high wages were viewed as too steep for the club to commit to permanently.

L’Équipe reports that Soler is moving closer to a departure from PSG. Several Premier League clubs are monitoring the midfielder, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and an unnamed side joining Brighton & Hove Albion, who have held a long-standing interest in the Spain international.
In Spain, Villarrealare also expected to revive their pursuit of Soler. The midfielder was born in Valencia and came through the ranks at local rivals Valencia CF beforemaking the switch to PSG in 2022.
