Southampton manager Will Still may have given Everton an incentive to seal a transfer for Tyler Dibling soon.

David Moyes wants Dibling at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer, but the Toffees have seen multiple bids being rejected so far.

The Blues lost Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom at the end of last season and are now looking to bolster the right-wing.

Still has reintegrated Dibling into Southampton’s squad after leaving him out of the initial games this season, but the youngster’s future at St Mary’s Stadium may yet be one to keep an eye on.

Will Still uncertain about Everton target Tyler Dibling future amid Eberechi Eze transfer talks

A domino effect has been suggested regarding Dibling’s transfer as Eberechi Eze looks set to leave Crystal Palace.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

BBC Radio Solent Sport’s journalist Adam Blackmore tried to put two and two together and asked Still whether the 27-year-old’s move away from Selhurst Park could potentially open the doors for the Southampton forward’s exit.

The Saints boss was coy in his response, claiming he’s only seen what’s being reported on Sky Sports News regarding the England international’s transfer.

Dibling became the youngster player to make his Premier League 2 debut at the age of 15.

In September 2024, the youngster scored his first Premier League goal.

The forward has been shortlisted for the 2025 Golden Boy award.

Speaking to BBC Radio Solent on 21 August, Still said: “I don’t. I have no idea. You’d have to ask Palace, or Arsenal or Tottenham.

“I read all this stuff at the same moment you guys do, and I saw Sky Sports News at eight o’clock this morning with Breaking News.”

Blackmore may be hinting at Palace possibly looking at Dibling to replace the departing Eze, which doesn’t bode well for the Toffees.

The Blues will undoubtedly need to move quickly if they want to beat the rest of the competition to the 19-year-old’s signature in the final weeks of the transfer window.

David Moyes already has perfect right-wing option if Tyler Dibling doesn’t sign

Dibling’s move to Everton could still be in the cards if Southampton return to the negotiating table.

Until Deadline Day, there will arguably be a lot of noise in L5 as David Moyes has demanded further reinforcements at Everton.

There are several positions the Toffees need more depth in, but Dwight McNeil can cover on the right-wing if the Saints youngster isn’t signed.

The 25-year-old left-footed playmaker was key for Moyes last season after returning from his injury, and the Scottish manager should look to use him more often on the right side of the attack, but only time will tell whether that will be considered as an option this season.
