Leeds Unted winger Daniel James has given his seal of approval to the club's capture of Noah Okafor.
Okafor has completed an £18million move to Leeds and has become the club's ninth new addition of the summer transfer window, signing a four-year deal at Elland Road.
Okafor featured for AC Milan against Leeds in the pre-season friendly earlier this month as both sides stepped-up their preparations for the new season. It seems he left an impression on his new teammates.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, James gave his response to that transfer. "I wouldn't say he's different, he obviously brings more quality definitely, another winger, wide player who brings quality," he said.
"Also, he looks very versatile that he can play in all three positions, which is always great.
"I thought he put in a brilliant performance against us when we played against AC Milan, he looks a great threat going forward, strong, powerful, great feet. I know after the game the boys were saying he's a very good player, not knowing that he'd sign here two weeks later.
"From what I'm seeing he's a great player, great lad, he also looks like he knows what it takes to play for this club."
The winger spent the second half of last season on loan with Serie A side Napoli, but he impressed in pre-season with AC Milan scoring four goals. He could make his debut for Leeds when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal in Saturday evening's 5.30pm kick-off.
