Zach LaVine ranked among top dunkers in NBA 2K26

It’s no secret that Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine can rise above the rim like few others in the league. NBA 2K26’s ratings concur with that sentiment.

NBA 2K26 unveiled its top-ten players at driving dunks ahead of the game’s release on September 5th, with LaVine included on a list that features several of the most athletic players in the game today.

Star guard Anthony Edwards, high-flying guard Ja Morant, and LaVine’s former Dunk Contest foe Aaron Gordon are also included in the list of NBA 2K26’s best driving dunkers.

Here’s where LaVine ranks among the best dunkers in the upcoming game:

Upon his arrival in Sacramento following a blockbuster trade deadline deal that also sent De’Aaron Fox to San Antonio, LaVine showcased his impressive skillset on the offensive end.

Over 32 games with the Kings, LaVine averaged 22.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 51 percent from the field, 44 percent from deep, and 87 percent from the free-throw line.

LaVine’s 68 dunks during the 2024-25 season were his most in a single campaign since he threw down 88 during the 2019-20 season.

NBA 2K26 has identified LaVine as the eighth-best dunker in the game.

The most recent player to be added to the Sacramento Kings roster, forward Daeqwon Plowden, was signed to a way-deal following his encouraging showing in Summer League.

Plowden joined The Drive Guys on Monday to discuss offseason workouts with teammates, adjusting to the NBA game, his background, and more.

Law Murray, NBA reporter for The Athletic, recently shared that Plowden, Isaac Jones, Nique Clifford, Devin Carter, and Maxime Raynaud had been playing well at Rico Hines’ offseason runs in Southern California.

The 26-year-old spoke about those runs and conversations he’s had with the Kings’ head coach, Doug Christie.

Christie’s first words to the young players were, “Who here picks up 94 feet?”, according to Plowden.
