Premier League giants approach Real Madrid over loan move for exit-linked winger

The future of Rodrygo remains a great mystery at Real Madrid as we enter the final weeks of the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian international appears to have fallen behind in the pecking order and may face the prospect of a reduced role in the new season.

This has led to widespread speculation over his future, with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur interested in his services.

Spurs propose loan move for Rodrygo

Tottenham Hotspur have tried in the past to sign Rodrygo, but they have not been able to woo either Real Madrid or Rodrygo.

Now, it appears the Lilywhites have approached Real Madrid once again, this time with an interesting loan offer.

As reported by Goal, Tottenham have offered a loan deal in which the Premier League club would be willing to pay the player’s full salary.

Real Madrid, therefore, can not only receive a loan fee for the transfer but also give the young attacker the opportunity to re-establish his value in the Premier League.

Such a proposal is being looked at favourably at Real Madrid, as it is a win-win situation for all parties involved.

However, it remains to be seen whether or not Rodrygo entertains the idea of joining Spurs, especially having shown no desire to leave whatsoever.

The Brazilian international, though, cut a dejected figure when he was left on the bench in Real Madrid’s opening game against Osasuna. With pressure mounting, the forward may consider the possibility of moving elsewhere, in search of a new adventure.

Tottenham, to that end, could be an ideal suitor as the Lilywhites are desperately looking for attacking reinforcements after losing Son Heung-Min and missing out on Eberechi Eze.
