One of Manchester City’s fringe players has held talks with Southampton over a potential summer move.
The Citizens have been very busy on the transfer front this summer, with plenty of incomings as well as outgoings.
A total of 11 Manchester City players have been sold, released or loaned out by the club since the end of last season.
Now, another player could be on the move, with City open to selling or loaning him out.

Issa Kabore factfile
City signed Kabore from Belgian side Mechelen in July 2020, though he returned on loan to his former club for the remainder of the season.
The entirety of his time on Man City’s books has been spent out on loan, turning out for Troyes, Marseille, Luton Town, Benfica and Werder Bremen.
Kabore was named the Best Young Player at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after helping Burkina Faso to the semi-finals of the competition.
The Bundesliga website likened Kabore to Paris Saint-Germain star Achraf Hakimi when he made his loan move to Bremen earlier this year.
‘Like Hakimi, Kabore is an attacking full-back who loves getting forward and whipping in crosses,’ they wrote.
‘His speed and physicality also make him difficult to deal with going forward and tough to beat defensively.’
Bremen head coach Ole Werner said at the time: “Issa is technically strong, physically robust and also very quick.
“Signing him opens up further options for us in our game. We are convinced that he can integrate very well into our team.”
