Leeds United have been rather busy in the summer transfer window with nine new arrivals already confirmed.
United confirmed the signing of Noah Okafor in a deal from AC Milan on Thursday. Leeds agreed a deal worth £18million to sign the Switzerland international to strengthen their forward options after their return to the Premier League.
The signing of Okafor means Leeds have taken their spending past the £90million mark following their promotion to the top flight. There is the potential for even more new additions to their squad before the transfer window closes on September 1.
There is plenty of time for Leeds to get more transfer business completed, and there is still every chance that some more players could be signed. There is also a likelihood that some players may leave Elland Road before the deadline.
In terms of new signings, Leeds are still looking to sign a full-back before the transfer window closes. Leicester City star James Justin is a target for United, although there is a shortlist of alternatives if a deal does not get completed.
When it comes to departures, there could still be as many as six players leaving the Whites before the deadline. Sam Greenwood, Largie Ramazani, Patrick Bamford, Isaac Schmidt, Darko Gyabi and Illan Meslier could all see their futures at Leeds be in doubt over the next 10 days before the transfer window closes.
Daniel Farke and Co. will now prepare for their second Premier League fixture of the season after beating Everton on Monday night in their top-flight opener. Leeds will face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this weekend in their first away match since being promoted from the Championship.
