Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz are still adjusting to life in the Premier League at Liverpool.
The former Bayer Leverkusen pair both made the switch to Anfield this summer and have established themselves as regulars in the first team under Arne Slot.
However, Wirtz failed to replicate his Bundesliga form against Bournemouth on the opening day as his club-record price tag brings with it an overwhelming sense of expectation.
Furthermore, Frimpong sustained a hamstring injury at Anfield and will now be sidelined until the international break.

While both signings are expected to make a significant impact at Liverpool this season, despite a turbulent start to life in England, they will now be joined by another former Bayer Leverkusen man.
Wirtz and Frimpong welcome old teammate to the Premier League
Amine Adli, who played alongside the Reds duo for four years in Germany, has completed a £25 million move to Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old announced his move via Instagram, and Wirtz was the first to congratulate his former teammate. Wirtz dubbed Adli “one of his best friends” in football, alongside Frimpong and Jonathan Tah.
He wrote: “Let’s go Broski.”
Frimpong responded to the announcement not long after on his personal Instagram story, writing: “Adli my g, proud of you broski
The trio featured prominently alongside each other at Leverkusen last season, helping the side finish runners-up in the Bundesliga to Bayern Munich and earning Wirtz a Ballon d’Or nomination.
Although Adli is moving to the South Coast, his arrival in England will help ease the settling-in process for Wirtz, who is playing outside his native Germany for the first time in his career.
Recently, Alan Pardew claimed Wirtz needs “uber” confidence in his footballing ability to realise his potential at Liverpool, and having another familiar face make the switch to the Premier League will go a long way in achieving that.
When will Adli face Wirtz and Frimpong in the Premier League?
Of course, had Adli completed his move to the Vitality Stadium sooner, the Moroccan international could have faced off against the pair at Anfield on the opening day.
Nevertheless, Wirtz and Frimpong will have the opportunity to rival Adli, barring any injuries, when the Reds travel to Bournemouth on 24 January.
Frimpong has already raised concerns at Liverpool despite only featuring twice thus far, but his latest injury setback has come during a difficult spell for the Reds who will face Newcastle and Arsenal next in the Premier League.
