Added Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald, "It was really cool to see the guys coming down the road with all the kids on the bikes and stuff, it's been a great experience for us."
While some bigger players like offensive and defensive linemen tested out the capabilities of those bikes, others, including defensive tackle Leonard Williams, opted for a ride in a golf cart, with Williams joking he was afraid of breaking a bike.
Another player who took a cart was cornerback Devon Witherspoon, though he took over driving duties, with a Packers staff member sliding over to the passenger seat while Witherspoon drove away with a big grin on his face.
Left tackle Charles Cross, meanwhile, started out riding a bike, then realized that at his size, it was easier to just pick it up and carry it the rest of the way.
And in the most adorable moment of the day, safety Julian Love walked with a 4-year-old fan as the two of them pushed her tiny blue bicycle together.
"I took a cart," Williams said. "I don't trust the wheels to support me. That's a really cool tradition, it's cool to see all the kids involved and all the fans, it feels like they're a part of it, helping the guys get to practice. I saw Julian, he wasn't actually on one of the bikes, he was just walking it because the girl had a little tricycle type of bike and he was just walking with her. I thought that was pretty cool."
