Arsenal will be looking to build on their win at Old Trafford last weekend as they welcome newly-promoted Leeds United to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. Both sides have started strongly to the new season with wins in their respective matches and will look to build on that.
The Gunners win at Old Trafford seemed to be the perfect start for Mikel Arteta's side despite Viktor Gyokeres' failure to register a single shot on target but the attacking woes never seem to stop for the club now with Kai Havertz set to be out for an extended period of time.
Meanwhile, Leeds secured a win against Everton at Elland Road to start their return to the top tier of English football strongly albeit in controversial circumstances. Toffees defender James Tarkowski was penalised for handball despite many arguing it should not have been given in such a manner - much to David Moyes' frustration at the end of the match.

The injury of Kai Havertz (knee) along with the long-term absence Gabriel Jesus means Arsenal are once again in the transfer market to boost their attacking options to provide competition for new signing Viktor Gyokeres. The timing could not come at a worse time with no return date set for the German international but the club feel he is expecting an extended period of time on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Leeds could welcome new signing Jaka Bijol to the starting lineup after serving his suspension which carried over from his time at Udinese last season. The Slovenian provides a versatile option who can play primarily as a centre-back but also as a defensive midfielder which works perfectly with Ethan Ampadu (ankle) remains under assessment ahead of the trip to the Emirates Stadium.
