West Ham are back in action at the London Stadium on Friday as they face a tough London derby clash against Chelsea.

Graham Potter will be looking for a reaction from his side after West Ham were beaten 3-0 by Sunderland in their opening game of the season.

Fans have been furious since the game, but while there have been many links, no new players have arrived since in the transfer market, despite Karren Brady insisting that West Ham are looking for a midfielder.

Chelsea drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace in their opening game, and both the Blues and West Ham will be looking for their first goals of the season.

West Ham’s record against Chelsea at the London Stadium

The Hammers moved into the London Stadium in 2016, and while it has been unpopular with West Ham fans, there have been some memorable moments at the ground.

West Ham have faced Chelsea on 10 occasions since moving stadium, with nine coming in the league and one in the Carabao Cup.

The home side has a strong record in this fixture, with five wins, two draws and three losses across all of these fixtures.

West Ham were beaten 3-0 in this fixture last year under Julen Lopetegui, but won 3-1 in the previous edition in August 2023, and will be hoping for a repeat result.
