Chelsea have brought in Joao Pedro and Liam Delap in this transfer window, pushing Jackson down the pecking order after his slightly underwhelming form in the last two seasons.
The 24-year-old may well have a big future in the game, but it hasn’t happened for him at Chelsea and it surely now makes sense for all parties if he moves on.
CFC also need to shift a few players after making so many signings, and Jackson is an obvious candidate to potentially raise them quite a bit of money.

Maresca also pointed out that Chelsea had brought in two new signings up front, with an exit for Jackson looking possible.
