Everton boss David Moyes may have just revealed the Toffees’ stance on a Tyler Dibling move after making a player decision.
Interest in Southampton star Tyler Dibling has been hotting up throughout the summer, with the Saints wonderkid being a man in high demand.
Several Premier League clubs have sounded out Dibling as an option, and it feels as though Will Still’s Southampton are fighting an uphill battle to keep him at the club.
One of the clubs keeping tabs on Dibling’s situation at Southampton is Everton, with Toffees boss David Moyes keen to add to his attacking ranks this summer.
Whilst Everton are keen on Dibling, Moyes may have indicated the club’s current stance on bringing in the Southampton man after a recent turn of events could swing in the favour of the Saints.

Everton decision over Iliman Ndiaye could have a positive knock-on effect for Southampton
It has been revealed, via Fabrizio Romano on X, that Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye has been attracting interest from fellow Premier League, as well as Serie A clubs.
However, the Toffees are not entertaining any offers for the attacker and have rejected all approaches for the player who is ‘seen as a crucial part of the project at the club’.

If Everton keep hold of Ndiaye, as David Moyes wishes for, their pursuit of Tyler Dibling will become far less crucial. It would be bad news for Southampton, however, if Everton were to sell the Senegalese international, as Dibling would be a suitable replacement for the in-demand Toffees star.
There is hope that Dibling could stay at Southampton after he featured in their recent draw against promotion-hopefuls Ipswich Town.

Will Still would be keen to work with Tyler Dibling
In an incredibly bleak 2024/25 Premier League season, Tyler Dibling’s emergence was one of the few positives for Southampton, having shone on many occasions in the top flight.
Dibling has shown his class, and at 19-years-old has already proven that he could cope with the levels of the Premier League, but also rip up the Championship.
The Southampton youngster may have his head turned elsewhere, but Still would be more than happy to make him a prominent member of his side if he does happen to stay.
Dibling in the Championship would be an exciting prospect for Southampton this season, and the winger could easily reach the next level under the stewardship of Still.
