Sorry for the delay in posting today – profound technical problems with the internet this end.

I would not normally dream of posting on here a blog or video from a Liverpool supporter. This is not because of any prejudice – my view is that we all support the clubs we do because of historical accident – I support Arsenal because I was brought up near the ground and my father supported Arsenal, that’s it. Not because they are by their very nature better than everyone else. Arsenal is the team that I support.
And of course, others support their clubs. Some are a bit silly about it in my opinion, claiming that inherently Arsenal are cheats and their club is superior but I can readily pass such people by. They don’t worry me.
So I let others gett on with their support, but occasionally I do read or listen, and the video below is one that I followed through with much interest, as it is delivered with thought and research, and indeed is far from being a rant. It is by a Liverpool supporter talking about Michael Oliver as being biased against Liverpool.
Now if you are a regular reader here you will know I have explored the matter of Arsenal and refs in a different way from this, relying more on statistics, and the facts they reveal about the inconsistency of the refereeing approach and the fanatical level of secrecy that surrounds and is inherent within PGMOL. This is different – this is about one referee and one club – Liverpool.
If you have a strong distaste for Liverpool FC and believe they inherently cheat or have arrangements with refs you might not want to watch and listen, but if you want a broader perspective on how a supporter from another club sees one referee, you might wish to have a listen.
I have not liaised with this supporter but since his piece is freely available on line I do take it as being in the public domain and thus free to be forwarded.
