Tottenham Hotspur will hope to continue their strong start to the season when they face Manchester City on Saturday.
Thomas Frank oversaw a 3-0 victory against newly-promoted Burnley in his first game in charge, and the Dane will hope to see his side impress once again when they travel to The Etihad.
New signing Mohamed Kudus was particularly impressive against the Clarets, while forward Richarlison also scored twice.
Now, it has emerged that the North London side are plotting a huge move to sign one of City’s attackers.
According to TEAMtalk, the Lilywhites are prepared to break their club-record transfer fee to sign Man City winger Savinho in the closing stages of the window.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks, but City have so far blocked the proposed transfer.

It is claimed, though, that the 21-year-old is now pushing for a move away from The Etihad and is keen to join Spurs.
Savinho joined City from French side Troyes last summer and made 48 appearances during his debut season in England, scoring three times and providing 13 assists.
The report claims that Spurs are desperate to sign two new attackers in the closing stages of the transfer window, and Savinho has been identified as one of their top targets.
The player is said to have instructed his agent to secure him a move to Tottenham, and his representatives are now attempting to soften City’s stance on the winger possibly departing.
Savinho is contracted to the Citizens until the end of the 2028/29 season, but it appears increasingly likely that he could depart The Etihad after just one season with the club.
It is claimed that Tottenham would be willing to pay as much as £73.5 million to sign the Brazil international, which would break the £65 million that they paid to sign striker Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in 2024.
