The Portuguese defender has now agreed to a further four years at the Etihad Stadium, taking him up to 2029 in sky blue.
Dias initially moved to Manchester as a 23-year-old prospect in September 2020 and was immediately tasked with shoring up the backline as Pep Guardiola sought his third Premier League title.

The centre-back did more than that, claiming the Premier League Player of the Season and PFA Player of the Year in his first season as we lifted the title.
He hasn’t looked back since then, claiming 10 major honours including our maiden Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup successes.
