Patrick Bamford looks unlikely to feature in Leeds United’s Premier League campaign.
Bamford was told by Daniel Farke that he no longer had a future in West Yorkshire, with the 31-year-old being out of form for multiple seasons now.
Injury troubles have also plagued the Englishman since his infamous first season in the Premier League, in which he bagged 17 goals.
However, Leeds are seemingly finding it hard to get the forward off their books, with a lack of suitors being linked with the striker.

Patrick Bamford could be in no rush to leave Leeds
During his seven-year spell at Leeds, Bamford has undoubtedly cemented his place as a cult hero, but it is clear that if he wants to continue to play regularly, his future lies away from Elland Road.
MORE LEEDS STORIES
With Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s arrivals at Elland Road, these were arguably the two final nails in the coffins when it came to Bamford’s Leeds career.
Since Farke’s arrival as Leeds manager, Bamford has never established himself in the team regularly
In the 2023/24 campaign, Bamford started just 15 matches in the Championship, averaging 45 minutes per game
Last season, his involvement shrank even further, starting zero games and playing a total of just 239 league minutes
Whilst Farke has cut ties with Bamford, getting him out of the club now will be easier said than done.
According to Capology, Bamford earns £70,000 per week, which comes out as £3.64million annually – or a little over £3m between now and his current deal expiring.
The striker’s contract is set to run out in June next year, and finding a club willing to stump up a transfer fee and deal with his wages is proving to be a struggle.

Leeds should’ve told Patrick Bamford to leave earlier
It was clear last season that Bamford was no longer good enough to play for a team competing for promotion from the Championship, never mind the Premier League.
This makes the decision from Farke to only inform Bamford that he no longer had a future at the club in mid-July even more bizarre.
With Farke deciding to leave Bamford out of the squad that took on Manchester United in pre-season, it is clear that he was never planning on using him in the top flight.
As brutal as this may seem, this information should have been relayed to Bamford before the players even returned for pre-season training, giving him more time to find a new club.
Now, Bamford cannot be blamed if he wants to sit around and collect money at Leeds, which he will never be offered elsewhere, as the Whites’ lack of preparation and decisiveness has allowed this saga to drag on.
