There are expected to be a few more exits from the Liverpool squad before the summer transfer window closes.
Kostas Tsimikas is anticipated to depart, with Olympiacos floated as a destination for the Greece international.
RB Leipzig has been in talks with Harvey Elliott, although Liverpool is thought to want to keep the 22-year-old in an ideal world for squad depth.
And amid the expected departures, one more has seemingly materialised heading into the final weeks of the transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Lewis Koumas will be a new Birmingham City player soon.
The Italian has confirmed that the Championship outfit has reached an agreement with Liverpool for the Welshman.
Taking to X, Romano revealed:
“Liverpool talent Lewis Koumas has decided to join Birmingham City on season long loan.”
“Agreement reached now and medical to follow next, 19-year-old winger will play for Birmingham City. Here we go.”
Koumas previously spent time on loan at Stoke City for the duration of 2023/24, scoring six goals in 49 appearances for the Potters during his debut season in senior football.
Championship newcomers Wrexham were also believed to be very keen on signing Koumas, even talks of a permanent deal were being mentioned, but it seems Birmingham City have won the race.
