Ruben Dias has made a home for himself in our city.
The Portuguese defender arrived here from Lisbon-based Benfica in September 2020 and quickly adapted, winning a raft of personal accolades in his first season as we lifted the Premier League title.

He hasn’t looked back, winning a total of 10 major honours including our maiden Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
That all forms part of his reasoning for committing to the club for another four years in signing his latest contract.
However, life in Manchester away from the pitch has also helped.
Now 28, Dias says he’s found peace and a home away from home here.
