In a competitive battle for his signature, alongside both Sheffield United and Wrexham, it now appears as though Birmingham City have won the race to sign Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas on a season-long loan deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, via his X account, the 19-year-old Wales international has opted to move to St Andrew’s and an agreement has now been reached, with Koumas now set for a medical in the second city.
Koumas will become Birmingham’s 12th signing of the summer as Chris Davies’ League One record-breakers from last season seek to mount a serious promotion challenge in the Championship this season.
