Front page news as Arsenal player could move on loan with obligation to buy–Talks have started

On Wednesday, O Jogo reported Jakub Kiwior has grown disillusioned with life at Arsenal, especially after being dropped from the squad for their 1-0 win over Manchester United.

The newspaper explained that with Porto interested, the 25-year-old defender is determined to depart the London club this summer.

O Jogo have more on the player’s Arsenal future today, on their front page no less. and note that informal talks are underway between the two clubs already.

Both parties have agreed on the rough conditions of a transfer, with Porto keen on signing the 25-year-old on a loan deal with the conditional obligation to buy him permanently.

The newspaper believe that this deal intrigues Arsenal and that is why there could already be a rough agreement in principle between the clubs, who can soon speak about the conditions that Porto will need to meet to sign the player permanently next summer.

O Jogo reiterate that Kiwior is keen to depart the Emirates as he looks for more game time. Cristhian Mosquera’s arrival from Valencia has pushed the Poland international down the pecking order at Arsenal and an exit has been described as a ‘genuine’ possibility.
