"I think it can be really dangerous," Hutchinson said of a healthy duo all season of him and Davenport. "I'm putting everything into his longevity, too. I'm trying to help him out and be there for him in whatever way I can.
"I feel like having another year with him, we've gotten way closer. We've gotten way closer as a D-line, too. But me and Marcus, when we're out there, it's great. It's a lot of fun."
After watching Hutchinson every day in camp over the last month, it's easy to think he can make another run at All-Pro and maybe even a run at Defensive MVP. As a pair, Hutchinson and Davenport have a chance to be one of Detroit's better edge pairings in some time, if both can stay healthy and on the field together.
