Intensive work to sign 3 Manchester City players – 2 agents working on one deal

There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray are working intensively to sign Manchester City’s Ederson, Manuel Akanji and İlkay Gündoğan.

All three players have been linked with the Super Lig champions this summer as they continue to add to their squad.

Despite spending heavily on Bayern Munich’s Leory Sane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Sabah claim Galatasaray still have plans to sign the three Manchester City players.

It’s claimed Ederson remains their No.1 target to replace the departed Fernando Muslera after reports in the past few weeks that they’re in transfer talks.

The Brazilian’s future at the Etihad looks uncertain with the arrival of James Trafford and the Premier League’s side interest in PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma. According to the Turkish newspaper, agents Ahmet Bulut and Özgün Koyutürk are trying to broker the deal to bring the 32-year-old to Istanbul.

Gala are also monitoring the situation with Akanji, with reports this week they’re in negotiations to sign the Swiss international. Manchester City have been asking for more than the Turkish club want to pay for the defender.

Gündoğan is said to still on Galatasaray’s radar, after confidence the move could happen earlier this summer.
