**West Ham tonight take on Chelsea in the hope of a serious response to the opening day loss at Sunderland.**
Graham Potters side fell to a shameful 3-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light, which has already piled pressure on the club, having come off the back of a poor season last time round.
The London derby tonight presents an opportunity for the team to show that the Sunderland capitulation has been moved on from.
Potter will be without Luis Guilherme, who suffered a dislocated shoulder in training and unfortunately faces a spell on the sidelines.
In more positive news, Crysencio Summerville is targeting the Spurs match as his return to action, although it may be sooner if Potter decides to take a risk on him.
George Earthy has returned to training and is close to featuring for the first time this season.
The manager has already confirmed that Mads Hermansen will keep his place in the team. Callum Marshall is also available following his suspension for a sending off at his loan club Huddersfield.
Tonight’s match kicks off at 8pm and is being shown live on Sky Sports.
