Shedeur Sanders, rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, seems untouchable right now and clearly has found his zen. Sanders was recently asked by reporters about what he thought of Dillon Gabriel’s comments and the talented quarterback simply seemed unaffected by it.
Sanders’ teammate, Dillon Gabriel’s post-game comments after the second preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, went viral. While Gabriel didn’t exactly drop Sanders’ name in his comments, many twisted his words and speculated that he was calling Deion Sanders’ youngest son an ‘entertainer’. Gabriel later clarified that he did not mean to call out Sanders and was simply referring to the media as the ‘entertainers’ in his statements.

“Honestly, I don’t even think about anything. Words or anything, you know at this point, can’t do anything to me. I know that God put the ability and power within me to not even think about nobody else’s comments and not care. It is what it is. I spoke with him. He told me on the plane. He came up to me and was like, ‘Nah, bro, that wasn’t at you. I see how they trying to spin it.’ I’m not gonna lie, I’m not tripping, regardless of whatever it was. Nobody’s words or anything affects me.” Shedeur Sanders responded to reporters who asked him to comment on Dillon Gabriel’s remarks.
Despite Dillon Gabriel being selected by the Browns two rounds before Shedeur Sanders, the latter has found way more publicity than him. Part of this is because he is Coach Prime’s youngest son, and another part is because of the energy that Sanders carries with him. Yet another factor is because of the immense controversy surrounding Sanders, which started way before the draft process.

Shedeur Sanders Was Made An Example Of By NFL, As Per Eric Dickerson
Shedeur Sanders dropping to the fifth round in the 2025 NFL draft is still something that hardcore fans and analysts cannot wrap their heads around. Despite showing off some crazy stats and impressive college football performances, Sanders’ name did not come in the first few rounds of the draft, stunning many. Soon after the draft, several came forward to reveal that there was something fishy going on in the NFL when it came to Sanders’ draft stock.
Recently, former NFL running back Eric Dickerson revealed that teams were discouraged from picking Sanders in the draft. Apparently, the league wanted to make “an example” out of Shedeur Sanders.
