Jimmie Ward, safety for the Houston Texans, is currently being sued by his ex-girlfriend Crispy West, who is demanding compensation for being assaulted by him while under the influence of crystal meth. Ward was arrested back in June for physically and sexually assaulting the mother of his child. The talented safety was arrested yet again, about a couple of weeks back, for violating the terms of his bond, which forbid him from consuming alcohol.
Ward apparently accused Crispy West of having affairs with other men and even being forced to perform oral sex on him. When the Texans’ safety went to look for West’s phone, she called 911 and had him arrested.

As of now, the safety has been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list. It still remains to see what response the Houston Texans will take with Jimmy Ward being arrested multiple times. NFL teams often do not take domestic violence and sexual assault claims lightly, and Ward may even be banned from the league for a long period of time.
Jimmie Ward has been with the Houston Texans since the 2023 NFL season and is currently on an extension from the team. Ward is definitely a talented player and managed a total of 32 solo tackles for the team in the previous NFL season.
Jimmie Ward’s Houston Texans Will Move On Without Him
It is unlikely that Jimmie Ward will play for the Houston Texans in this upcoming regular season. With so many controversies surrounding the player, it is doubtful as to whether the team will place any trust in him after this.

The Houston Texans will be getting ready to take on the Detroit Lions for their third preseason game, before kicking off their 2025 NFL campaign with a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1.
The Texans will enter their third preseason game against the Lions after winning impressively against the Carolina Panthers, 20-3 in the second game. Starting quarterback C.J. Stroud led their offense in that game with six pass completions out of eight attempts with a single touchdown.
The Houston Texans will be hoping to do better in the 2025 NFL campaign after only getting as far as the divisional round in the previous season. The Texans will look up to C.J. Stroud to lead their offense this season, with Nick Chubb and Joe Mixon leading the team on the ground.
