These last few days of the transfer window will be very interesting for Leeds United. Daniel Farke has urged the club to bring in some new additions to strengthen the squad for the rest of the campaign.
This comes after Leeds won their first game of the season on Monday night. The Whites surprised Everton at Elland Road, beating them 1-0. It took a late penalty to seal all three points in front of the home crowd.

According to Soccernet Nigeria, Everton are planning to offer Getafe £25.95million for the star midfielder. Uche has a £21.6million release clause at the Spanish club. David Moyes’ side are desperate to bring in new faces before the window closes.
Leeds United also have their eye on the Nigerian international, but are yet to make a move or even offer a proposal. It looks like the Getafe midfielder has his sights set on a move to England, with Wolves and Brentford also interested.
Ethan Ampadu injury could force the club’s hand
Daniel Farke may not be in the market for a new midfielder, but losing Ethan Ampadu could change plans. The Welsh international has been ruled out with an MCL injury and will be out till the end of the next international break.
”Bad news with him, sadly. The next games we have to play without him. MCL injury, he will definitely be out until at least the international break. I hope to have him back the other side of the international break.”
Considering the player’s position and the fee involved, it is highly unlikely Leeds make a move to sign Uche. But you can never rule out these deals so late in the transfer window.
