The 29-year-old made eight first-team appearances under Nigel Adkins in the 2014/15 season after breaking through from the Academy, captaining the side to the Premier League Cup in 2014 with highly-regarded coaches David Dodds, Eamonn Dolan and Martin Kuhl, before enjoying a career predominantly in non-league with the likes of Slough Town and Dorking Wanderers.
During a 1-0 win over Worthing on Wednesday, the former England youth international broke two bones in his leg and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
Requiring months on the side lines and full rehab- which he would like to take place at Reading-based facility Go Perform- a fundraiser has been set up by Farnborough.
More than £6,000 was raised within 48 hours, with a target set at £7,500.
"During our fixture with Worthing FC on August 20, Kuhly incurred a serious injury to his leg, resulting in two broken bones," [the club said.](https://www.gofundme.com/f/kuhlyrehab) "This will result in him being out of action for several months, and requiring rehabilitation to ensure a full recovery.
"In a previous injury, Aaron worked with Go Perform - a sports injury and performance centre. His aim is to use the same facility to help his recovery again. However, this comes at a cost.
"We at Farnborough FC have set up this page for anyone who would like to contribute to his rehabilitation costs, whether that be as a fan, friend or just someone who wants to help him.
"Everyone at Farnborough FC is sending our thoughts to Aaron and his family during this time, and we hope to see him back in yellow as soon as possible."

GoPerform, based in the town, was set up by former Royals medics Dan Buchanan and Luke Anthony, who were both at the club during the halcyon days of Premier League football.
Working with all types of athletes, including a whole host of former Reading stars past and present, it is among the highest regarded facilities of its kind.
The specialist centre, launched in 2022, now boasts a 4G Astro area, extended running tracks, a mezzanine, treatment rooms and changing area, to offer an even better product to clients.
