Rodri and Phil Foden are available for selction after missing the victory at Molineux last weekend. Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol, Savinho and Marcus Bettinelli remain sidelined, however.

“Rodri and Phil last game were out but for just the reason why lack of training and rhythm and they didn’t travel to Palermo,” Pep Guardiola said at Friday's press conference.

Ederson is also back in contention, and could replace James Tarfford in net.

“We will decide tomorrow or tonight after dinner,” he said.

“Happy we know the new player brings new energy. It’s tough to change.

“New ideas and players are the same and James brings youth and desire to play at the club he was born and grow with.”

City lost their last home game against Tottenham 0-4, with goals from James Maddison (2), Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson. Overall City have won 69 of the 174 games played against Spurs, with 37 draw and 68 defeats.
