As Everton prepare for their second Premier League game of the season, the controversy still hasn’t calmed down from the Leeds United game.
It’s certainly not the start in mind for David Moyes, who must be questioning his squad ahead of the Brighton game.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium takes centre stage as Everton will want to get off to the perfect start to this new era.
Gary Lineker backs an Everton win, but fans will be hoping refereeing decisions don’t get in the way like the Leeds encounter.
Well, for the last time, Moyes has spoken out and revealed what he’s been hearing about the overall consensus of a decision made.

David Moyes is getting word that the ‘wrong decision’ was made for the penalty in Leeds United vs Everton
After just one game, there have already been debatable errors made as James Tarkowski found the Leeds penalty ‘bizarre’.
Many fans and pundits have claimed the wrong choice was made by Chris Kavanagh to award the penalty, but Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher approved the penalty.
Well, the Toffees manager has given his last view on Tarkowski being penalised, and it sums up what should have happened.

Moyes said in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Brighton fixture: “I think generally the feeling around the country is that it shouldn’t have been given.
“The word I’m getting behind-the-scenes is that it was the wrong decision.”
It seems like, although he hasn’t received an official apology for the penalty, the feeling is clear, and the signs don’t look good ahead of Brighton.
David Moyes might be concerned about Stuart Attwell appointment for Everton vs Brighton
The referee appointment of Stuart Attwell for the game this Sunday might have alarmed some fans.
With the referee assistant who gave the penalty on VAR as well, it’s not boding well for the Toffees.
But Frank Lampard has had to complain about Attwell before, as the official has gone against Everton, and the last thing Moyes will want is to talk about yet another refereeing error.
Hopefully, the trend doesn’t continue, but after the Leeds game, it’s probably not the last time Everton fans will be talking about incompetent decision-making.
