This week has the potential to end up in the history books for Leeds United fans. Beginning their Premier League campaign with three points infront of a packed home crowd is just the start.
Leeds flew off the starting blocks in the game, taking the initiative against Everton. It took a while for the Toffees to even gain a foothold in the game. If it was not for poor finishing, the game could have ended in a more embarrassing scoreline for David Moyes men. The Whites rightfully took the lead late in the game after Lukas Nmecha dispatched a penalty to seal all three points.

When asked about his upcoming opponents this weekend, Mikel Arteta replied that he has been watching Leeds and was impressed with their game:
”Very impressed. I’ve been watching them, what they did in pre-season, what they did on Monday, what they did last year, for sure, in the manner that they did it. Big compliments to the way they play, to the coach. I’m sure they’re going to put a really difficult match against us tomorrow.”
