Man Utd could land Frenchman Adrien Rabiot after a heated clash at Marseille saw the midfielder fall out with teammates. A move seems possible before the transfer window closes.

Manchester United might get a chance to snap up Marseille star Adrien Rabiot this summer window. This comes following a dramatic fall out inside the French club.
The Ligue 1 side has reportedly decided to let him go. Thic comes after a violent clash with teammate Jonathan Rowe during their 1-0 defeat to Rennes. Sources claim the altercation started with heated words before turning physical, forcing Marseille to act swiftly.
Rabiot joined the Ligue 1 side as a free agent in September. He had a good season under Roberto De Zerbi. He managed to register ten goals and five assists in 31 games. Although, the dressing room drama has left the club ready to move him, along with Rowe.
Red Devils’ midfield hunt
With the transfer window closing in 10 days, Man United are actively hunting for options in midfield. Rabiot is a proven international and multiple-time league winner in France and Italy. He could be an ideal fit.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the player could be available for €15–20m. That is a relatively low fee for a player of his caliber. Man Utd missed out on their main target, Brighton’s Carlos Baleba. That was due to high transfer demands.
A move would strengthen the Red Devils’ central midfield. Also, it would likely add experience and versatility. Meanwhile, United are expected to clear some squad space. They are potentially parting ways with plenty of stars, to make space for new arrivals.

Rabiot could be a wise signing for Man Utd in the short term. He has quality and experience but the club need to make sure he is able to fit in to the squad.
