Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has offered no guarantees over Andre Onana's involvement for Sunday's Premier League battle with Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper had recovered from a pre-season injury in time for last weekend's visit of Arsenal, but he was brutally left out of the squad, as Altay Bayindir started the match with Tom Heaton in reserve.
Bayindir was culpable for Riccardo Calafiori's winner at Old Trafford, but while Amorim confirmed that Onana is fit and ready to play in his press conference, he refused to divulge his starting goalkeeper.
However, after Bayindir once again failed to take his opportunity, Amorim may return to his established number one, at least for the time being amid growing links with Senne Lammens.
Onana should be protected by an identical back three of Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Matthijs de Ligt, the latter of whom did an incredibly effective job of marshalling Viktor Gyokeres last weekend.
Bruno Fernandes pulls the strings in a deeper midfield role alongside Casemiro, while Patrick Dorgu's spot on the left is also safe, but Amorim may be tempted to select Amad Diallo over Diogo Dalot given Fulham's injury concerns on the left-hand side of defence.
The Ivorian will offer support to Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha - who carried the fight to Arsenal - and potentially Benjamin Sesko, who ought to be considered for a full debut after a 25-minute cameo in matchweek one.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Diallo, Fernandes, Casemiro, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Cunha; Sesko
