He looked very good once again and there were a few drops when Dart was on the field. He left the game in the first half when he got injured on a slide, but it was nothing serious. Head coach Brian Daboll and the Giants fanbase know that Dart needs to learn how to slide. Otherwise, Dart has been great during the preseason and who knows when he will see the field next.

During the preseason, Dart completed 32-of-47 passes for 372 yards and four total touchdowns. This has a lot of Giants fans excited about the future, despite Russell Wilson being the starting quarterback for Week 1. This is what New York fans had to say about him:

And like 7 of those passes were drops. Dude is going to be a stud

Very happy, don’t start him too early. Keep developing

Folks were caught up in the hype of others and forget how good Dart is. Giants stole him!

Remember Danny Dimes preseason #1 lol. Let’s calm down.

If the giants start off bad he’ll be starting before seasons end

If the Giants get off to a slow start, there is no doubt that this fanbase is going to call for Dart to start over Wilson. Entering training camp, he was the third quarterback on the depth chart. It will be interesting to see if Dart will actually be the backup quarterback over Jameis Winston in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders or not.
