Everton are heading into the final days of the summer transfer window in need of some further additions.
Goals and creativity must be added before the window closes, and David Moyes is pushing for more recruits.
Moyes demanded nine new signings this summer, but time is running out for his wish to be granted by the Friedkins.
Everton have made some exciting signings. There is still plenty of room for improvement, with both quantity and quality needing to be added.
Tyler Dibling is on Everton’s radar, but it is proving a difficult deal for the Toffees to strike with Championship outfit Southampton.
Moyes may not have helped Everton’s cause with what he has just admitted in his latest press conference.

David Moyes issues honest Everton answer amid Tyler Dibling interest
With Everton interested, Southampton are demanding around £45m for Dibling this summer, but there are other clubs in the race.
Southampton’s CEO told club’s Dibling won’t be sold cheap, despite the player’s desire to return to the Premier League this summer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Speaking to the media on Friday, Moyes may have just showed Everton’s hand in their pursuit of signing Dibling from the Saints.
“We’ve got money to spend. And we’re trying to spend it,” said Moyes.
“We’re in there and we’ll be competitive. We’re finding it very difficult to spend the money.
“You ask me why the players aren’t coming in, and I think a lot of them are looking for Europe.”
Considering Tottenham are also eyeing Dibling, knowing Everton have money to spend is exactly what Southampton will want to hear.
There is now the potential for the Saints to hold even firmer in the hope Everton will get desperate in the final days of the window.
Letting clubs know Everton have money to spend may not have been Moyes’ best move.
Southampton made aware of Everton’s financial power
Knowing Everton have money will certainly reassure the fans, but Moyes has really given other clubs a huge insight into where the Toffees stand.
Any late moves made by Everton could now be met by strong demands from the selling club.
Everton want to bring in three more players this summer. That may have been made a little more expensive now following Friday’s press conference.
There is a belief that Dibling wants to move to Everton despite his return to the fold on the south coast.
An interesting week lies ahead for the 19-year-old, but Everton may now need to dig deep if they are to land the right winger.
