Manchester United are attempting to solve one of the club’s problem positions with a fresh face.
Ruben Amorim watched an impressive opening day performance against Arsenal be undercut by a goalkeeping error.
Altay Bayindir started the game ahead of Andre Onana, and Manchester United fans are not convinced by either goalkeeper.
There has been speculation throughout the window that a new goalkeeper could be brought in, and it appears the club is working on a deal.

Manchester United pursuing Senne Lammens
Manchester United have been linked to Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens throughout 2025.
Fabrizio Romano now claims that United’s interest is stepping up, with the club working to get a deal over the line.
He claims personal terms are ‘almost agreed’ with Lammens, with United keen to avoid losing out on him to other interested clubs.
Romano posted on X: “Understand Manchester United are still working on deal to sign Senne Lammens, talks underway.

Senne Lammens is top prospect who could become number one
Senne Lammens is 23-years-old and has represented Belgium at youth level from under-15s all the way through to under-21s.
United In Focus reported in July that Lammens had become United’s top option for the upcoming transfer window, if a move for a goalkeeper is viable.
The tricky situation for United is being able to sell or loan either Altay Bayindir or Andre Onana, with under a fortnight remaining before the transfer deadline.
Lammens would cost around £17 million, and if he was brought in as an understudy to Onana at first, there would be an expectation he would become first choice.
The goalkeeper admitted being stunned by the links to United earlier this summer, while City were also interested before re-signing James Trafford.
