Liverpool have been one of the most dominant teams in the Premier League for some time now.
Although there have been times when they were second-best, more often than not, the Reds have done themselves proud.
And, the fact that they managed to win the title in Arne Slot’s first season in charge shows how far they’ve come over the last 10 years or so.

This summer, plenty of change has occurred at Anfield with Liverpool spending over £250million to try and improve their ranks, and, even though it’ll still take time for things to gel, with the amount of talent Slot now has at his disposal, it’s hard to see how things could go sideways.
Emile Heskey believes Mohamed Salah is better than Harry Kane and Alan Shearer
One of the main reasons Liverpool managed to come away with the Premier League title last season was due to the staggering form that Salah was in.
The attacker had over 50 goal contributions across all competitions last season and, even though his numbers aren’t likely to be anywhere close to that this time around, he’s still a vital part of Liverpool’s team.
And, while speaking about where the Egyptian King ranks among some of the Premier League’s greats, former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey gave his thoughts on where Salah ranked.
Didier Drogba was the first player Heskey said Salah was better than, with his reply simply being “Uh, Mo.”

He then also went on to say to Tag Sports that the Egyptian King was better than players such as Alan Shearer, Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney.
Liverpool would be nowhere without Mohamed Salah
It’s hard to imagine where Liverpool would be without Salah among their ranks all these years.
Alongside Virgil van Dijk and Alisson, the Egyptian is arguably one of the most important signings of Liverpool’s history.
The trio have managed to win everything possible while donning the Red of Liverpool and, since they’re all still in their prime, there’s still plenty of time for them to add even more trophies to their cabinet.

Indeed, the newbies who have arrived, such as Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, will also have a say on how things pan out, but without the aforementioned trio, Liverpool wouldn’t be Liverpool.
Of course, every golden generation comes to its end, but as long as Salah keeps on firing and the Anfield outfit continues to add young talent to their ranks, it’s hard to see how anything could stop them for years to come.
